Concept development in Racha, Shovi resort, involves rehabilitation and revitalization of former Soviet sanatoriums and adjacent territories. The program for the former military sanatorium entails activities for various groups: tourists, families; People who love nature and strive for holidays in quiet, healthy recreational places. We propose the rehabilitation of the existing building by preserving its function and adding one-level cottages and a hotel with terraces. This development respects the existing structure and takes into account the existing culture and landscape. The new bathhouse, which is partially underground, melts into the landscape and opens its views towards the magnificent ravine. The former Sanatorium dominates the complex both from visual and fictional perspectives.

The second part of the development is planned around Sanatorium #1, so-called Stalin’s house. This building, with expressive architectural forms, will be rehabilitated, conserving its authentic appearance, and transformed into a hotel. The hotel will host visitors who want to divert themselves in an exquisite atmosphere with high-quality service. The large yard can be attractive for open-area weddings and festivities. Orangery in the place of backyard ruins will invite guests who love photo shooting in romantic and delightful spaces.
